Hi there, your new girl is running all over because she is VERY nervous and is in a completely new enviroment - all the sounds and smells and sights she is used to is gone. Running around like that can be a sign of anxiety and stress - the best thing for you to do is leave her alone for a few days to reduce her stress and let her take in her new environment.
Definitely do not try and hold her or hold her down or confine her in any way, as this will add 10X the stress.
Also, don't introduce her to your existing girl - you need to take about 30 days to slowly introduce them, swap toys and pouches and get them used to each others smells. When they do meet face to face, do it in a nuetral area like a glider proofed bathroom (bath tubs are good, with a shower curtain pulled so they can't go too far and you can get to either of them quickly) or a tent. Be prepaired to catch one or both in case they don't get along right away, they can do alot of damage to each other if they set their minds to it.
A good place to go for emergency help is http://www.sugarglider.net - it actually has an emergency forum and people there are VERY helpful and quick to respond.
I hope this helps, and I hope she is doing better now :)

I don't know much about sugar gliders (except that they're too cute!) but I know there are books on just about every animal you can get as a pet. You should find one of these guides and read it for information. Or just do a search online for sugar gliders, I'm sure you'll be able to find information there.

First of all, THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY so you can stop with the caps.
You both need to calm down before you try anything.
And, this applies to ferrets and I'm sure it applies to gliders as well, but I think you should keep them separated until you get the new one checked out by your vet. Pet store animals can carry sickness and you wouldn't want her getting you other glider sick, right?
So just calm down and keep them separated until you can make a visit to the vet. Kay?

How old are your sugar gliders? Are they male or female? Do you have two separate cages?
Here are a couple websites that tell you how to handle/tame a sugar glider. The first thing to remember is to be PATIENT.

i'd basically keep doing what you're doing. keep an huge eye on her and keep searching for a vet that's able to look at her. The Petsmart by utilising my residing house will look at gliders yet i'm no longer particular if all of them do, i'd call them and locate out once you've one close to on your residing house. I have 2 gliders besides yet neither of them have ever been ill like that. attempt giving her fruit flavored gatorade so she will be able of get some electrolytes, I supply it to mine some cases a week and they fairly like it and that i have study that this is sturdy to grant them. i fairly wish she is nice and that i will pray for her well-being. sturdy success!

Stop posting on a yahoo board about what to do, when you could be reading up on it?
Seriously, there are hundreds and thousands of pages on the internet. Typing in "sugar gliders" to a Google, Yahoo! or AOL search will probably give you many, many pages of useful information.

He'll settle down after a while - don't make any loud noises that he's not use to - like loud music or TV.. Are they both the same sex? Two males might fight.....
