There's no particular reason for the spotting, other than it happens here and there since I've been on the pill (Loestrin 24 Fe).

As long as it isn't a fullblown period you will be fine. I have gone before when I was spotting. It just makes it a little more difficult to get a good sample.

What is the possible reason for the spotting? Stress, pregnancy, pre menopausal, menopausal/ you need to visit the doctor.

You could call and ask your doctor about it, just mention you are spotting right now and don't know if you need to resked or not.

My ob/gyn says that as long as its spotting you can come for your appointment. I'm sure that that's pretty standard.
