It might have been too early and she might have had implantation bleeding. I had one at what I thought was when I would have missed my period (i never had a period after my miscarriage in dec.) and that one was negative. I waited a week and took one and it was very positive (turned positive right away). SO just wait and try again.

i was 6 weeks pregnant when i took the at home test and mine was + but it was VERY VERY light so i would asume if you are less than 6 weeks it might be even lighter and may even give you a negitive try waiting about a week, i know i know a week is a long time when your waiting on that but it will give the hormones a chance to increase and you should be able to get a good result by that time, if nothing else she can go get a blood test at the dr. 100% The spoting could just be her period or it could be implatation bleeding so i would wait a good week after her period is due! good luck on everything

Hey,
I had the exact same thing!
I went to the doctors for a blood test came back positive but turned out I had an ectopic pregnancy...
I'd sugest waiting probably another 2-4days because the pregnancy hormone HCG doubles roughly every 2 day or so...
If it's still negative perhaps take a trip to the doctor and get a blood test done!
There are more accurate and more sensitive to the HCG hormone!

Wow five test in a week she must really want to be pregnant, lol.
But I was pregnant and it said I was not so you never know. You actually have to wait longer then she is though to see it. Also, if a woman is stressed her period will not come also. So she needs to relax and forget about it. Wait another week she will prob get it if not then take a test. Bc now she is doing NOTHING but stressed herself and you out and wasting a lot of $$ on test.

That's a lot of home pregnancy tests! I think I'd opt to have one done at a clinic or doctor's office to know for sure. Sometimes the home pregnancy tests aren't as sensitive as the ones done in a doc's office are. Her hcG levels might not be high enough to be detected by a home test, but a doc's test might pick them up. Go see the doc, the peace of mind alone would be worth the office visit.
