my psychology instructor, who graduated with a PhD in psychology, said he's not even a psychologist. I'll take her word for it.

He's just a shining example of how sad we've allowed ourselves to become. I can't believe he's a fake (although when I first saw a picture of him I thought he was this over-used character actor I figured had run out of work so devised the personna of "Dr. Phil"). I don't follow any of that stuff. Don't have TV. But my girlfriend, who is always going through some sort of crisis and follows everything he says has informed me she no longer needs him. Seems everything I've said in answer to her questions is exactly what he has said. Go figure. I think I'm entitled to some of his cut. What say? Can I sue him for psychic plagarism?

That show just does well because of the publicity people get from talking about sex...and it is plain and simple common sense! People don't even have that any more so they have to ask someone else...and get on TV while doing it.

I really hate Dr. Phil. What's with the mustache too?
The other day I watched his show, and he contradicts people who have ALREADY apologized and have already worked things out....
That guy is a real dumbass. He's just lookin' for money, from people who aren't smart enough to see that he's a retard.

I think you've figured him out. Everything he says is common sense....but he spins it to make it seem like it's a revelation. I think a lot of the talk show host are like that though.

Hell yes. That fool is rediculous. He can't have a regular conversation with guests without constantly looking at the telepromter. It's like he's reading his repsonse instead of actually responding. Even Oprah gives her real opinions.

I think Dr. Phil is a very nice man who likes to help people who can't or don't want to help themselves.
Sometimes people hit roadblocks and need his
expertise in certain areas when they've exhausted all other avenues for their problems.
