I usually keep one or two things tucked under the bed . . . the rest, inside a plastic bag, which is inside another plastic bag, which I then wrap in a canvas bag and put inside another canvas bag. Yes, it takes a while, but such is the price you pay still living at home and not wanting anyone to find it!
