The best advice I can give you is: don't try to memorize the answers. Try to UNDERSTAND the answers. If you understand it, you won't need to memorize endlessly. Find yourself a tutor if you're having trouble with the concepts.

And study, study, study!

It's easy .... you don't have much time, but this should improve your grade by at least 10 points. Follow these easy steps.

Until all your finals are over, turn off the TV, the Gamebox, the Nintendo and your PC. No email, IM, or cellphones for the duration. Take that text book you've been carrying around all year and read it. Find a quiet place with no distractions and each night read for an hour. Spend the first 20 minutes reading, The next 10 minutes thinking about what you've read. Another 20 minutes re-reading and then answer the questions in each chapter. If you don't know the answer to a question, don't sweat it. Write out the question on a clean page and put it in a pile to deal with later. After the reading time is over, then go over the chapter line by line, until you find the missing answers. Write them by hand on the sheets.

Do this every night for a month, and you will absolutely get at least an 85, maybe even a 100...
If you are unwilling to turn off all the electronics for a few weeks. then you are going to fail..... Instead of all that stuff above, go to the store and buy yourself a nice shiny new spatula. Instead of studying, you can spend a few minutes each night practising flipping burgers... Because if you cannot take the time to do your schoolwork, that's what you'll be doing for the rest of your life.

As much as T.R. annoys me, he's right this time. Understanding the answers will certainly be easier than memorizing them, and what's more you'll be more likely to remember them in high school and college.

Anyway, I might as well add that having note cards makes it easier. Write down questions about concepts that you struggle with, and get someone to test you. Studying is a LOT more bearable with multiple people involved. Failing that, write the question on one side and the answer on the other. Go through them once every so often, every few hours perhaps, but don't just repeat them endlessly. Cramming like that is not as helpful as repeated practice over time. Slowly over a few days is better than all at once in just one night.

And don't get m discouraged if you don't seem to be making progress after the first few tries. You will get it soon. The human brain is remarkably good at memorizing things given the chance and the time.

Good luck with your final!

Throw in the chips, if you are already failing now is a little late to worry about passing

the same thing is happening to me but in math. All you need to do is just study and work harder.
