ok. I have a problem. The last time I had my period was April 9th 07. The day after Easter. I haven't had it since, and no, I haven't had sex or anything. I`m just 14. That's wrong. anyways. Is it normal or is something wrong?

btw, I eat right. actually, I somewhat eat alot sometimes. Not all the time. I mean, I'm one of the girls who you see walking around or sitting down, watching tv and pigging out 24/7. I only weigh 140 lbs, but that's b/c I've been building muscle by doing excercise videos. also, I just got finished with track, so...

Do you eat right? Not eating enough can lead to you being too skinny and that can put your period to a halt. Also, if you are really active in sports that can also put a halt to it b/c it lowers your estrogen levels.

It is normal to have irregular periods when you are young. Even older adults will have irregular ones too. Don't worry about it. If you haven't had sex then you are fine. If you don't have a period in say 2 months then tell your mom and go see a doctor who will probably tell you its normal. The dr may check you out or he may want to wait and see what happens. It is common for people your age to start and then stop for awhile and then start back up again and have a normal period.

When you first start having periods, they sometimes only come every few months, not every month like it will when you're older. Have you been having regular (monthly) periods up until April? Stress or losing alot of weight can make your periods stop. If nothing has changed in your life, you're most likely okay. but of course, ask your mom for help or if you feel sick (fever or pain).

Have you had irregular periods before? Has there been a sudden drastic change in your weight? Are you very active in sports? If it really concerns you, there is no shame in asking your guardian if you can go see the doctor because something feels "not quite right" to you. Better to go and it be nothing, than to not go and it be something serious, right? All the best to you.

Some people have irregular periods. That is why you chart them, keep a record of day one, etc. each time. It will help you figure out your own personal schedule. I was anywhere from 35-45 days for years.

Wow I think you might need to wait for about a week and if you don't get it see a doctor or talk to your mom about it. It's coming late so you have a irregular period

If it's only been a little while since you started getting periods, it might just be a puberty-related issue. If you don't get it next month, let your mom no so you can get checked out.

Since your period is so late, I would recommend that you talk to your doctor.
While it's sometimes normal to have your period fluctuate by a few days, yours is a bit later than that.
Good luck!

that's very normal. i'm your age and that used to happen to me all the time. your period isn't regulated yet, it's very unpredictable at this point. eventually in a couple of years or so it will have a normal cycle.
but in any case, no, your fine!
