for english i need to write a satire about some problem... any type of problem and then i need to propose a ludicrous solution for it. it has to be modeled like a modest proposal in which it says that eating kids is the only solution to ireland's economic state in the eighteen hundreds. what are some topics and crazy solutions ? please help i really cant think of anything.

Global warming. > You could suggest getting rid of /all/ internal combustion engines and converting cars into sedan-like bicycles; kind of like the Flinstones, except using pedals instead of feet. Cars would be lighter once the useless engines were removed along with the other steel reinforcements that will no longer be necessary since no car accident will ever occur at more than 20mph. > Stop the reproduction of cows and eat the remaining living cow population; since it is said that they are worse for global warming than cars. > And then use all of the employees that lost their jobs from the previous examples to power the country by spinning windmills with their hands to generate energy.
