I have a Compaq Presario 5000 and I'm thinking about buying a firewire card so that I can put my stuff from my video camera on the PC. First of all, would I be able to do this? If so, I'm confused to where the card would be installed (ie: back, front, etc). Finally, if you happen to know, which card do you recommend. Thanks so much for your help, it really means a lot to me.

This is all you need:

Along with a Firewire cable if the card doesn't come with one:

It plugs into a PCI slot on your motherboard, very easy to install, google for some instructions.

With domicile domicile windows ME working kit and actual 40 gig and 32 mb of RAM truthfully no longer! domicile domicile windows ME is historic and this laptop could desire to have quite lots no memory or speed. consistent with danger, for like $one hundred-$one hundred and fifty, yet quite no longer $350. I even have been given A Compaq laptop, with 80 gig memeory and 958 ram (yeah thats like 30 situations swifter than yours) for about $475 (on sale needless to say), so spend the greater desirable money and get an excellent laptop, there are quite some greater desirable useful Compaq computers available for related to an identical value. have relaxing paying for.
