My <> alone,carry those two.
You have to make those two serve and fit the most important One.
A stronger "Being" stands with both of those,Means, for the One,Self. You let one over the other and they will render you limp.

Your mind. The mind is strong enough to slow the heart and in certain circumstances even stop the heart! I have blood pressure issues, thanks to my mother's side of the family and know that I can change the pressure that I am experiencing by using my mind! As much as 20 points on a good day in a very short time. Sit down and sit still for 5 minutes, then I bet if you take your pulse and then spend 5 minutes thinking about slowing your heart down. You can prove the answer and have some fun experimenting at the same time! You need a watch or clock with a second hand to try this little experiment! Count for 20 seconds and multiply by 3 or count for 60 seconds it works out the same.

The hear and mind are interlinked. But we have a pure heart and mind which is beyond the material conception. That is our higher intelligence. God is situated within the heart and if one accesses him through the pure mind then they will be able to hear His Guidance. But that is a rare soul who can do that and be sure it is God speaking to them always. It is only the self realized souls who can do this always. But we can purify our hearts and minds through the chanting of Gods names (Krishna,Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Etc.) Chanting the Maha Mantra is the quickest and easiest means to do so. I have been practicing for 14 years and I love it and it has changed my life and my heart. I feel very fortunate to have found this very sublime process. for info go to harekrishnatemple.com give it a try Also Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells in detail the process of how to get in touch with your higher self.

well in what terms? I believe that the mind is always stronger, because if you love someone or something and have something on your mind about them that can get in the way. like psychologists they tell a patient what to do in some cases, but their minds are set up in doing the opposite. The heart can change about opinions, but must of the time the mind does not easily change.

I think for me it would be my heart. I tend to do things or react to things based on how I feel. I can talk about the "right" way to do things all day long, but in the end it comes down to my feelings. I wish I weren't like that.

I suppose too that some people are more mind-based; doing things based on reason and logic. Sometimes those people annoy me.

My mind is much more powerful because of all the neat stuff I have and can learn. My heart is a different matter, rarely do we choose who we fall in love with.

Literally - The mind
From a science point of view, the mind does control the fucntioning of the hart (specificallt the hind brain - I think the medulla oblongata).

But from the real standpoint - The Heart

It connects people together.

That's a good question-I think that depends on the individual. I feel that when it comes to relationships I have been in my heart is stronger because I have always followed my heart even when I knew it wasn't the right decision.

I use my mind to earn a living as a teacher of science and math. It gets a lot of exercise. So, in my case, I'd have to say my mind. Other people are different, of course.
