Is there a decent market for Indian ethnic clothes in USA? These will be made of ethnic Indian material (like Silk with Indian touch) but the apparels will be customized for western taste.
Is there a market for this idea? Will you be willing to buy such an apparel online?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I would want one around my area in charlotte, north carolina. I think one of the best place to set up ur shop would be dallas, tx or chicago. internet is a good idea specially with a great alternation policy. Make sure to advertise in a local papers to get the word out. I think there is always a demand of indian apparel shops since some of the indian ppl cant go back for months or even yrs.

without a doubt. but you need to check your demographics. i work 15 min away from nj's largest mass population of indians. even the people that live there call it "the mother land". i believe almost every state has an area which is predominatly indian. i also have many indian friends that travel to india for their wedding saris because it's cheaper to fly to india and purchase them there than it is to purchase them here. if you could produce affordable, authentic saris, you would make a fortune. good luck!

it matters where you live, but most people just go to india every few years for a wedding or whatnot since somebody is always getting married there, and they get clothes while they're there. and they're cheaper too. i don't think there'll be too much of a market. sorry!
