what else can you tell me about blowing glass pipes?

Glass pipes are flameworking. They are made with an oxy-propane torch that costs about $300 with tanks and regulators adding about that much more. The glass is borosilicate meaning it is like Pyrex and stands the shock of heat with low expansion. Making them is easier than most other glass working - just expanding tubing and joining it.
The making of pipes is a fad with some really stupid results where the final product is intended to be used with illegal drugs and health damaging addictive cigarettes which makes them pretty useless.
