No one has found a convincing cause and effect relationship between deodorants and breast cancer. One study found traces of chemicals called parabens in breast tumors, but there is no evidence that they came from deodorant or that they cause breast cancer. Parabens are used in cosmetics, foods, and drugs as preservatives, and they have now been removed from most deodorants.

The rumor that using underarm deodorant or antiperspirant can cause breast cancer has circulated for years on the Internet. Yet there has never been any scientific basis for such a claim.

I had breast cancer, the only thing I was told was not to use razors, use an electric shaver, so you don't have places like guys get on their faces. I did hear something about aluminum. And Teflon. I have some old stainless cookware my mom had.
