I was 12 when I started turning them off. But I do sleep with my tv on as a source of light... and I am 21..

i leave the light over the stove in the kitchen on, just in case any one has to get up during the night there will be a little light so no one falls and breaks a leg or something!

There is nothing wrong with that. I have my T.V. on "all" NIght also. Mostly because I Like to Hear the Noise, whether I am asleep Or On this Computer reading Your Questions and answers! I do like the extra light tho , also..............OLD HABITS ARE HARD TO BREAK>>>>>>(smile)
