I was considering leaving my hair, which is medium length, down and doing ringlet curls like this: http://www.beautyden.com/hairpics/scarlett-johansson.jpg
I'm unsure if that will work well with a strapless dress...
Any advice?

Look on google and type in prom hair and see what sites come of scroll through the pictures on the websites and find that "perfect do". But i highly recomend having at least one little piece of hair hanging down loosely curled so you dont look so blah since you would have your hair pulled back and up and you have no straps.

people are forgetting about the past and i think their clothes are awesome!
for hair, the rule is with a strapless wear your hair down
for this play up the 50s and think marilyn monroe!
use a volumzing product, then curl, then set with hairspray[not to much!]

I think if it's strapless do fifties style hair down. Something curly and flowly. Good luck.
