I'm scratching my head. Back when I just didn't like the president I felt optimistic because there's always the next election. But now - on both sides of the aisle, in the senate and in the house, polititians are teaming up for the big win without including the voters. They are not listening to the people, and doing as they please. There's a bad smell coming from Capitol Hill. It's feeling very creepy -

Based on exactly what you state, I like the fact that it is due for a cleaning. The American people seem to begin to stir at those things you mention. When that happens, there is some imbalance in the system as people in government line their pockets and bank accounts and it becomes more prevelant as they see the unrest. When the people fear the government you have tyranny, when the government fears the people you have justice and equality.

You give the option of three answers, all of which contain some truth. Your sarcasm is accepted if applied equally among all branches of our government. My answer would be that I don't like any of the options, but appreciate the fact that our government, any government, does provide organization which is completely necessary for a civilized nation. Consider Somalia.

I would have to say the way everyone comes together in a time of crises regardless of your party, religious beliefs,or ethnicity. unfortunately it takes a crises for it to happen like 9/11 but I would have to say I was amazed and touched how the government came together for the common goal of the people.

I like that we are ruled by laws not emotions. That the constitution limits government and that there are checks and balances in all branches. OK, that's how it is suppose to be, but evil greedy politicians have corrupted our great government and subverted it to their own despicable desires.

- national parks
- local police and firefighters
- the supreme court (even if I don't like it's make up right now)
- NPR
- PBS
- National endowment for the arts
- NASA
- The EPA
- And I even like the fireworks in DC on the 4th of July

It's not all Iraq...other things are happening...it just doesn't make the news cause it's not sexy.

The current gov. is doing a 'heck of a job' millions of new illegals every year over$pending towards a endless war of lies the 9/11 mysteries, patriot act aka the anti-constitution!etc... etc ....etc.....
