My husband and I LOVE the name Kason James (pronounced kay-son, like Jason just with a "K")
what do you think? open to other spellings and other middle name ideas but we're sticking to his first name

Our first son's named Caleb.
How we thought of it: actually, we live in MA and there's a pitcher for the red sox named Kason Gabbard. As soon as I heard the name, I just loved it!

The way it is spelled is sorta like a flatter a sound so could be mispronounced by teachers and others.
I think parents should think of what it's going to be like in kindergarten and elementary school when they're picking a name. You don't want to create opportunities for other kids to tease him and have him end up hating his name.
I'm hoping your first son isn't Jason... if I had a brother named Jason and I was called Kason and I wasn't a twin, I'd hate my parents. But that's just me.
And I'm curious.. if you are sticking with the first name no matter what, then why even ask us if we like it?

I love it! Very original! But I think Kaeson, Kayson, or some different spelling would be even more original. Kason James just flows nicely! Congratulations on the new addition!

I think "Kason" is a perfect spelling. although the others are nice (Kaisen,kayson etc.) they look too similar to a females spelling. I think Kason James is perfect.
Congratulations. =)

I am not a fan Kason sounds and looks very trendy. It's not an awful name, though. I'd prefer James Kason myself.
