Your drivers license will be just fine. However you want to get a passport if you don't have one, as the rules should be changing in a year or two.

New York and Miami are in the United States. If you're driving you only need your drivers license.

If you are flying, you'll need a drivers license and another form of ID. Anything with your name on it is acceptable. We fly from Ohio to California quite often and this is all we need, plus a ticket, of course!! If you are driving, just a drivers license will be adequate.

All you need is a driver's license or state issued photo ID (As long as you are a legal US citizen!)

If you're talking about driving, a driver's license. If you're talking about flying, a photo i.d. If you're not a U.S. citizen, take along a passport.
