Ford Motor Company killed people forty years ago when it built a car called the Pinto with a gas tank that had a tendency to erupt and burst into flames. It was revealed that the company's lawyers actually had calculated the number of people that could die - and the cost of legal battles - before it would interfere with the 'bottom line'.
I'm sure most companies have legal staffs that make similar projections today. Human life or safety only becomes a factor if and when it might affect a company's profits. That's 'big business' for you....and they'll cozy up to our wicked politicians so that 'bottom line' continues to remain protected - at any cost. -RKO- 05/20/07

NO but I do see every day'Haliburton/KBR/,Blackwater'doing a lot of killing ! Soon to be a FORIEGN company, paying NO taxes on their war-profiteering ! Not to mention the media ! They lie to make money off the bstards ! just to let everybody know i tried 5 times to get the word 'doing in the space where you see the dots !!!!!!
