the side is poping out everytime i pop it back into place it pops back out!!!!!!or if i pop it back into and i close the computer it pops out on the side there is a lock symbol and it has a k on it well it looks like a k....is there a way to lock it into place so it wont pop out?please help me!!!!!!<3

Frontside, backside, leftside, rightside, topside, downside? OK, probably your modem card is popping out? They lock but there's not much to the locking mechanism. If playing with it, gently, does not bring you satisfaction, take it to one of your nearby comp stores and find someone who can show you "how" to play with it and make it lock and stay locked. The birds and the bees of playing with your computer.

Your lucky thats all I have a 7 year old hp n5420l that the plastic body is coming apart. and fi the side is poping out you may have a lose skrew and no I don't mean you the laptop it may be on the bottom under a skrew cover near the area affected.
