Hi Mary Ann, I believe that we all have it. Our brains are analogue machines that come up with undecipherable activities all the time. Our brains make a very hard effort to inform us when it knows something and wants us to be aware of it. You can call it extrasensory perception if you want. You don't add much to a well dug and poked at set of semantics formed into some syntax that are supposed to sound official and important. I think we all have an intelligence that senses at some level where some notion has made its way to the conciouse level and requires of you a response so that it may return complete and with a response from the boss (you) and in that way are you not only created by reality but you also create reality although there is no way to be concious of it all.

Do you know my answer then?

ESP is a broad term as is the context you don't expand on!

I can seem to read a persons 'character' or 'personality traits' from their palms.

I've no idea how I do it ...I don't look at a line and say 'this means this' or 'that means that, and therefor......'

I don't 'know' or understand how I do what i do or why I saw things I say about people I know next to nothing about. But, I'm invariable 'on the nail.'

The one person who told me 'I was wrong,' was a celebrity (some years ago) who spoke about the happiness in her marriage after I'd spoken of it in 'opposite terms.'

A few years later I was vindicated over this when I read the front page and the Life Story of this woman in the News of the World newspaper.

I could appreciate that she'd lied to me to safe face in front of others who were there at the time (though she invited me to read her hand and the circumstances were not set by me). But, the 'sheer Relief' I felt was wonderful (some ten years after the event).

Sash.

I think everyone has instances where stuff like that happens. I have thought about someone just to have them call like 2 seconds later or thought about a song and it was on. They have done studies and haven't been able to prove anyone with ESP. When people get close to each other they often dress alike or finish speeches. My mom and I sometimes dress in the same colors without seeing each other. It can be a little weird.

There is NO ESP...

There are plenty of cases of people, myself included, where one could say "I saw that was going to happen before it happened!" or "I had this feeling in my gut, I just knew that the outcome would be...." but there is NO RELIABLE CASE OF THIS ABILITY IN ALL RECORDED HISTORY, there is NO ONE who can see the future...But everyone can guess, and chances are, somebody will guess right...

Some people learn "the art of the cold reading," which basically means that they look at your mannerisms and appearance and can take an educated guess at what you like, dislike and generally do, and proceed to tell you a story that more likely than not, resembles the truth and if they get lucky, they can make it look perfect. They can read your facial expressions and tell you intimate details that "no one could know," unless they could use ESP. Often they even use word tricks to con you into giving the information to them yourselves, but since they led you into divulging it, it seems like they knew it all along...

Also for those who seem to "see the future" with regularity," consider this, a million images may pop into your mind's eye in a single day, many of them being possible "future events," now, which ones are you going to remember the best? The ones that actually occur? Or the HUNDREDS of things that DIDN'T happen?

And don't forget self fulfilling prophesy...While there is no evedence at all that people can see the future or other places outside of their imagination, there are literally THOUSANDS of cases of the placebo effect (see sight below,) and voodoo is proven to be effective if the target BELEIVES in it...If a person tells themselves daily that something will happen to them, more often than not, they will make sure that it does...

I usually have mine in my dreams and when the time approaches i deliberately do something to change it from happening. Funny how i always remember the bad ones before and the good one's after?

once I was sitting in my car at a traffic light, and it was red. Then, I just got this feeling that it would turn green. and sure enough, 2 seconds later, it went green!! I was so shocked that the person behind me had to honk at me before I gathered myself and could continue on my way

I think it is possible to have ESP. I don't personally recall a moment where I might have had it but everything is possible.

yes we do.that is the sixth sense and normally it wont work for everybody.those people who have their ESP working are gifted by nature and those people are mostly very clear hearted and purified souls.

Yes, I am sure we do. I can often tell what a person is thinking before they speak.
