Well youre right about the Democratic Party, but you fail to mention the numerous lobbyists and special interest groups the Republican Party works for.
Both parties are corrupted as hell and should be taken behind the barn and killed with a dull ax.
Which is why I dont vote on party-lines, only for individuals.

We don't have socialized medicine now, but we are still in that situation for the most part. The company you work for decides which plan they will pay for in the benefits package they give you. That plan decides which doctors are covered, which hospital you can go to, which procedures are covered and what is considered reasonable and customary charges. Unless you have the money to pay direct out of pocket, these decisions are not up to you. Socialized medicine will not change medical care for the wealthy. They will still have their private doctors and still get the best care.

Ask yourself this: Why do we have police? Why do we have fire departments? Why do we have armies? What is the biggest danger, bigger than even crime, fire or war, to every living, breathing person in this country? It wouldn't be disease or catastrophic illness would it? How about just simple preventive health care for over a third of the country, who incidentally do most of the actual work. Think about the "warm fuzzy feeling" they must have all of the time. Health insurance actually cost more than many people make in whole month. Still, I think we should privatize everything. Next time I call the cops or fire department, I just have my credit card out. Of course they'll run my credit before they decide to come out, see what kind of money I make before helping me. I'll just have to be SOL if I don't meet the profile. That's real freedom.

It is not just this one issue that is at stake, it is whether America becomes the Socialist States of America with a new constitution, or are we going to continue to have our freedoms, our constitution and our way of life, our Western culture.
The primary reason these socialists have been successful up to this point is because Joe Blow Average, who only gets his news from television, has no idea that we are dealing with real no BS socialists/communists, the kind that will destroy our economy and our country. You have to tell people, everyone you know, you have to let them know about the connections between these people and the socialist organizations world wide.
AMericans always have and always will reject socialism, but the MSM will not tell them so it is left to us.

Another charge against the non-existant 'leftists'. The propaganda term 'leftist' is used when blasting the non-existant 'liberals' just isn't extreme enough. Nobody is champaigning for 'socialized' medicine...which in itself is a propaganda terms. The issue is affordable and universal health INSURANCE. No, this isn't 'free' medical care, and it isn't going to have a negative effect on your standard of living. It isn't going to make 'THE GOVERNMENT' your lord and master. What universal health insurace will do is replace several dozen overlapping state, federal and private plans with a single payer plan, thus relieving business of most of the cost of providing medical insurance and leaving no one out....a cost now bourn by the taxpayer anyway. Everyone will pay something, and everyone will be covered. Give it a think and get back to me!

Your rant is a little late. It's already as you describe for those with insurance...and especially those on Medicare.
And, don't blame the Democrats. It's the last Republican Congress that stuck us with the prescription bill - thanks to many of them being in the pockets of the large pharmaceuticals companies.
Who do you think is pushing the bill that would make it illegal to get your prescriptions filled on the Internet or in Canada? Your good buddies the Republicans.
Have a look at a couple of the websites below:

As serious as this issue is, National Security is a more important reason to vote Republican. I guess we have different "hot button" issues but reach the same conclusion.

didn't happen last time...don't you think all the doctors will want to work elsewhere so they can control what they make...seriously, how many doctors are going to be willing to take a 95% paycut?
