kay, i love the preppy style! i love shopping at AE, HCO, and A&F. but sometimes i wonder if my outfit is really preppy? so with that said, what type of things can u wear to be considered preppy??

haha i didnt actually BUY this outfit! lol. i just thought it was cute. pleasee i def do not have $80 to waste on a pair of jeans...but i can dream :-)

oh...and just because i love the style, doesnt mean im stereotyping n e thing. i love the style...plain and simple. excuse me for wondering if an outfit is considered a certain style.

The outfit that you showed is considered preppy. Basically any clothes from Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister, or Aeropostale are preppy. Preppy styles are tight, destroyed jeans, babydoll tops, graphic and logo tees, short shorts, bermudas, mini skirts, and leggings. And preppy shoes are flip-flops and those plaid sneakers by Rocket Dog. Hope this helps!

I'm old school, and those outfits are definitely not preppy. ( In case preppy has changed ) Preppy clothing is traditional, conservative clothing, like white button up oxford cloth shirts, a sweater tied around your neck, ( definitely NOT those jeans) and a pair of khaki colored pants. A lot of preppie's wear TopSiders or Pennyloafers. Those sandals might be allright for summer though. But those jeans are awful, no offense.

i def don't think the outfit is preppy! If you want to be preppy there is a four letter word to lead to major preppiness ((I made that word up)) P I N K!!!!!!! And also the brand pink, by Victoria's Secret! LOL!!

Yes, Abercrombie, is preppy, there modo is causual cool :). I also love dressing preppy. Juicy, couture, stuff from Nordstroms, is preppy, so if in doubt, try that. Normally when its expensive, its preppy. Good luck, with ur so cal preppy style! all those things pictred are preppy

Why are you so concerned with labeling yourself a "prep." It's kind of pathetic in a way. If you like the clothing, then buy it. Don't buy it because you think it's preppy and you are oh so desperate to be labeled that way.

ya if you put it all to gether then ya its preppy. I LOVE that shirt by the way. You have good taste and im pretty sure that the way you put your clothes to gether are preppy b/c all those things together look preppy.
