Am I missing something here?
First, WWE keeps Cena as the WWE champion for like a gazillion years. Now, they make Edge the World Heavyweight champion?!
What are they trying to do? Disappoint the fans?!
What's wrong with giving the WWE champion to Shawn Michaels and letting Undertaker keep his Heavyweight champion reign for a few more months?

Well Edge was made champion b/c both Undertaker and Kennedy were injured.Kennedy is scheduled to return in July.Undertaker is out for about 8 months. Cena is still the champ b/c HHH hasn't come back to win it from him.HBK is now injured, even though he still deserved another long term run as champ. Cena also still carries the gold around b/c he is in really good terms with McMahons and writers.I expect Edge to lose the title quick, but Cena will keep the title past Summerslam.

First, little kids beg their parents to pay money to see their hero AKA WWE champ John Cena. Edge, lately has been having a bit of a hard time backstage at RAW and had to move to Smackdown. Plus, Mr. Kennedy is out of action and the best canidate to take the money in the bank from him must have been Edge. Undertaker is out of action for several months and Shawn Michaels is out of action due to a severe leg injury i believe. With that being said, Kennedy, Shawn Michaels, and Undertaker are not able to win anything right now. Also unless you want Mark Henry, Khali, Randy Orton, or Funaki to be champions we should all be thankful. However, i see your point about Cena. I think Edge and Randy Orton in a champion vs champion match might be pretty cool. Batista might make a good champ but it would get old. I believe he also suffered a very minor injury lately, and I know for a fact that WWE doesnt want to make his old injured shoulder worse. By the way funaki as champ was justa joke.

wwe they are making the wrestlers look dum by making cena the longest champion i mean he had that title since Wrestlemania 21 and we just got finish with Wrestlsmania 23 make a better person the champion try like a new fan favorite they should make the most hated wrestler be champion like how they did Triple HHH i think the person that should be wwe champion is proble HBK but i dont like him thoe but i think he shulod atleast get a title before he retires they should make Cena a heel like how they did lita she was face until 2005 so they should make cena just turn on some one and then keep him as champion but now he's Getting to much attention

Edge is champion because one: Undertaker got hurt and two: Kennedy got hurt. Look for Kennedy to get the strap upon his return in July (source Rajah)
Michaels and Orton are having an angle to build up for HHH's return when he, HHH, will have an angle with Orton (source Rajah)

I agree! Cena has become a boring champion, and I like someone to name a more exciting champion to watch than the Undertaker.

Well they can't do that because Undertaker and Shawn Hickenbottom are injured and Vince just doesn't want cena to drop that title because cena pleasures him at night.
