Good manners dictates that you listen attentively. If it is getting boring, find a moment to excuse yourself, and leave the room/office/place.

If you show indifference and start yawning or something, that is very rude and does not show manners and good breeding on your part.

I think it´s important to listen to anyone with whom you are having a conversation. If you can´t stand the topic. Change it! Much better then not listening... If your acquaintance dosen´t get the hint then tell them directly..Can we change the subject? - or - Sorry, have to go. If you have no pleasure to talk with them.
