But to answer your question:

- The diameter of the sun is about 109 times the diameter of the earth.

- The volume (and mass) of the sun is about 1,000,000 times the volume (and mass) of the earth.

I'm not sure. I do know that in the book my daughter was looking at last night it said it would take 200 yrs by car to get to the sun from earth.
