Pizza - Bostone Pizza (Newbury St) Galleria Umberto's (Hanover St)

Well, you didn't give any details as to type, price, etc so I will let you know some of my favorite places: Strega, Grotto, Grille 23, Union Oyster House, Ned Devines (it's a club at night, but during the day they have a really good menu of food!), Game On, Anthony's Pier 4, Golden Temple, Sunset Cantina, NoName, Abe & Louies, Olives and The Stockyard. . .That's a pretty big variety, as some are fancy, some are laid back bar places, Italian food, Chinese food, etc. . . .Enjoy the city while you're there!

Quincy Market is a good place to eat if you are with people who have different taste in food. I love it because there is such a variety and it is near shopping, the aquarium, etc. so it is good to pop in there when you don't want to spend an hour discussing where to go. I also love the North End and Harvard and Davis Square (both in Cambridge).

Dessert I would say is definitely Mikes Pastries on Hanover Street, my personal favorite is the strawberry cheesecake, the strawberries are massive and the cheesecake has the best flavor. For lunch, il Panino which is about a block from Mikes has awesome Italian food if your on a budget, its quick and delicious! Pier 51 is amazing, and on Mass Ave there is a Mexican restaurant called Casa Mexico, amazing! I try to stay away from chains like Legal Seafood and Fire and Ice, but you can find good food there to.

Pomodoro's on Hanover Street
Regina's Pizzeria on Thacher Street (the original, their pizza doesn't taste this good at any of their other locations...original oven...seasoned (well-used) pans...)
Mike's Pastry on Hanover Street (right across from Pomodoro's and a couple of blocks from Regina's) It's where everyone goes for desserts and breads!

Amerhein's in Southie....the food the atmosphere, it's all good also some great Italian food at Maggiano's Littly Italy in Park Sq (across from the Park Plaza Hotel)
