well i like this matchup because the cavs are my team, lebron is my favorite player and i like the balanced pistons a little bit.

to say who wins it will be hard. so if we look at the regular season matchups, we will see that on april 1st i think, the cavaliers were visiting the pistons, and lebron scored 41 points to ensure a overtime victory. the two earlier season matchups were won by the pistons, but with the cavaliers struggling. the final matchup of the season was won by detroit in detroit, but the cavaliers were closer and if lebron went perfect from the freethrow line to go 11 for 11, and if he or another cavalier made one or two more plays, the cavs would have won.

in the regular season, the pistons led the cavaliers in their regular season series 3-1, but in this matchup, if lebron can step it up and the cavaliers can be synched and pumped up offensively, then they will win. as for my prediction, i think the cavaliers will win it in 7 games, but thats my hunch.

as for the prince-james matchup, it is obvious that lebron will score more, because he is the main offensive component of the cavs, but tayshaun is one of five offensive options, and is mostly there to defend lebron and slow him down.

by the looks of your screen name, you are a big pistons fan. i am a huge cavaliers fan, so may the best team win.

STARTERS:
Ilgowskis vs Webber: Webber

Gooden vs Sheed: Sheed

James vs Prince: James

Povlivic vs Hamilton: Hamilton

Hughs vs Billups: Billups

Looks to me like the Pistons are going against a one man show. I hope that 1 man can live up to the hype because he has a whole city on his shoulders expecting him to beat the best opponent in the east and a team that the Cav's as a team has had problems with. 1 and 3 three this year against the Pistons. Hope they got a better stradegy than they did in the regular season because if they don't, this series isn't even going to be interesting. Yeah, Lebron is going to get his, but i don't see him scoring more than 35 in any game vs Detroit and anything less will not get the job done. My prediction, Lebron is going to have 3 good games in the series, one of those good games will be a loss because of the Pistons great play. Pistons in 6. Cheer up Cav's fans, you always have the Indians.

Go Pistons!!!!!

Well if it's anything like last years conference semifinal matchup it should be a really good series. I am going to have to say Detroit in 6.

Unless Lebron James pulls a Jordan like performance every game, I say Detroit in 5.
