Can you please elaborate? I feel like many people are loosely throwing this term out there without any justification. Just because they advocate health care for all and helping the middle/lower classes...I think this is very different than Marxism or Stalin's regime...

I'm still waiting for someone who believes they are Communists to give me specifics instead of a rant. All a rant shows me is that you don't know what you are talking about...

They have no arguments, and anyone who isn't a clone of them is a "commie"! I am just waiting for the reappearance of Sen. McCarthy and his witch-hunt!

Republicans are lousy at arguments and hate everyone. Anyone who doesn't agree with them is un-American, yet it is they who do squat

They use "liberal" in place of Democrat, when Democrats are not liberal! A group are!

I am not saying all Republicans,. A few have some brains!

If you do anything for the poor, who in large part are victims of our economic system, and those on welfare, who are children, the elderly and the disabled, you are a liberal.

When you give a tax-cut to people who average $858,030 to $26.4 Million a year, cut VA hospitals by $100 Billion, and are the party of the biggest and most corrupt Corporate welfare recipients, then you are one of them!

I think "communist" is a little strong, although if you read some of Hillary's early writings, she clearly had Marxist leanings.

Basically, though, you need to understand WHAT communism is. Communism isn't based around Stalin's murderous regime. That's just the inevitable result, because the communist economic system doesn't really work without massive force. AT its heart, communism is an economic system based on the idea of a government that supplies all the people's needs. In that respect, many of the policies of both of your candidates lean toward a socialist/communist agenda. There really isn't much difference between the two. So, anytime you have someone advocating a socialist health care system, it's reasonable and fair to call it socialism, and while most people are angered when it is called that, it's really the same thing as communism. Also, anytime government tries to take from people to give to other people, no matter how kind-hearted it may seem, this is socialism. If these kind of socialist policies become the norm, and the government takes over all ownership in order to meet the needs of the people, it's communism. That's why.

this term is loosely used to describe politicians that believe in big government. Both hillary and barack believe in being politically correct but step over boundaries of where government stops and individual rights begin. I do not agree with the use of the term communist but i do understand what the thought process is behind those that feel that rights are being removed from individuals because politician feel their way is better. this land is no longer the land of the free, it is the land of do as i say willingly or i'll force you.

Some people who have been decieved into an ultra right wing doctrine throw out such words as a thoughtless scare tactic

In the old old days they would be yelling witch and trying to get a band wagon together - flaming torches and pitch fors etc

They say they believe in democracy but only if you agree with them - They don't like the concept of 2 party's - Wow because 1 party really is communisim -

Often times those who blame others do so for what they are most guilty of themselves

Use your head read the statements made by the candidates check out the past votes they have cast and make up your own mind free of fear mongering and hatered driven statements

Do that and you will defeat the far extremists(on both sides) by your opinion and your vote

Cave in and let some one else tell you a bunch of slogans and fill your head with thier idea's and blindly jump on anyone's band wagon and you will get what you deserve

Mob rule and no rights at all for anyone

While it's true, there is a bit of a difference between socialism and communism, it's all a very slippery slope with a banana peel thrown in for good measure. That both support federally funded programs to relieve the poor of bad life decision's consequences, goes a long way toward that very end. And let's be honest with ourselves (if you truly dare), social programs do little more than enslave the masses. Welfare was never intended to be a final means of support, but here we are with a generational problem of abuse and 100% reliance. It undermines the will to succeed as well as capitalism. It tells people that you nolonger have to work for privilege or prestige. Whine about it loud and long enouh and it will be given to you free of charge. Thanx to this "entitlement" mentality, my wife, son and I spent four hours in the E.R. the other night for a thirty minute suture job. Why four hours? Because the law requires that no one be turned away regardless of a lack of money or insurance. The doctors (three) were too damned busy treating the indigent with the sniffles and drug problems to tend to truly emergent patients. Why? Because of people like Hillary and Barack who are too busy pandering to the lame and stupid. Given enough "social" programs, what do you end up with? Communism. A + B = C.

Because the personal political experience of MOST Americans leaves them woefully uneducated about the true spectrum of political options around the world. In the minds of the (mostly Republicans) that think Clinton is a "communist", President Bush is a "conservative" (!). Bill Clinton was more conservative than George W Bush is! Just look at their actual records. The distance from the "Far Left" to the "Far Right" in the US is meaningless in the spectrum of global politics.

Having said that, I LOVE IT HERE, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

People on this website are prone to exaggeration and hyperbole. It's just like when they call a moderate Republican a fascist or a Nazi.

I don't really care for Hillary or Barack's politics either, but I don't think they are on par with Lenin or Mao.

Read the Communist Manifesto. Then, study the positions Mrs Bill Clinton and Obama support. Make up your own mind. Many off us see more similarities than differences.

Right wing ideologues want people to believe that Clinton and Obama are communists. Clinton and Obama are progressives. They are to the left but they understand the importance of free market economics.

well lets see.. first they want to Dictate pay.. and health care or I should say take it over..

then hillery said she was going to take the profits of the stock market.. meaning my 401k is worthless.. I also read that the DNC is considering a unclaimed income tax.. meaning the money you have paid into your home. will be taxed at 50%,, no more home ownership.. and I also read another branch of the DNC is considering a tax on the amount credit card companies loan you.. meaning.. if a credit card company gives you 5000.00 credit line.. you have to add that on top of your yearly income... raising your taxes to the next tax bracket...

taking money from someone to give to someone else IS COMMUNIST
