Let's say it has been six years.

that depends on how long it's been, how good the relationship is, and and why. i don't think that it's ok to cheat, but if it's been like 6 months and there is no reason for not having sex (like a pregnancy/medical condition) and the marriage seems to be going down the tubes anyway then it's possible that i would, and i know that my husband would too. sex isn't the most important part of a marriage but it is somewhat important to share intamacy with a spouse. so i guess my answer is yes.

No i definately would not. No matter what was going on at home, there is no justafiable reason to do something that would cause irrepairable harm to my husband/marriage, and or children. BESIDES SEX IS SOOOOO OVERRATED.

Talk to your spouse, and see what the problem is, it could be that they have already crossed that line themselves, and even if they did two wrongs definately don't make a right.

It could also be something medically wrong, have them talk to their doctor and get checked out and treated if something is wrong. Is it possible that they are stressed out over work, the bills, or any other difficulties that are going on at home or at work?

Once you say I do, you should honor those vows that you made befor God, never mind what man thinks, I know you may not want to hear this, but not everyone who will answer your question has your best interest at heart. If you can't seem to talk to your spouse, then talk to your pastor or some other "trusted" friend or parent who can and will give you sound advice.

No one has bothered to answer this yet so I will. Sleeping with someone else when are married is calling cheating. I am married and I would not sleep with anyone else, regardless of what was going on at home. I think you know the answer to this question already. What do you think the majority of people are going to say?

Uhh, yes, especially if it's a long time, like forever.

6 years?? I've had started about 5 years ago. To me, after 10 months of no sex, all bets are off.

For a man... sex isn't really optional. I would try everything but I would eventually have sex with someone else... which is what I did/do...

If you aren't into sex.. then just cut him loose. Find a guy who had prostrate cancer or something... that's about your only home of not having sex.
