Okay,I've managed to get roundworms in my tank,I need a definite fool-proof way to eliminate them.I've tried everything from extreme gravel cleaning to even taking the gravel to the oven they still thrive arrgg!!..I know what causes them to appear and have done all the research I can stand I do regular water changes have around 1/4 an inch gravel at the bottom,clean the filter regularly and don't overfeed yet they just won't go away.The only thing I haven't tried is coppersafe...help!! I'm getting a new canister filter this penguin 330 kinda sux but I would like to eliminate them before I do this.So please someone give me an answer to this riddle...something that somebody has actually tried with success.

My suggestion would be Clout. It's a quite strong antiparasite medication that will kill most all worms and crustaceans in a tank. I have used it to eliminate both parasitic and nonparasitic worms (both flat and round) in tanks and holding facilities on numerous occasions and always will excellent results.

Copper would also do the trick, but only at the correct dosage and that's not easy to calculate as many things in the tank can bond with the copper and detoxify part of the dose. Additionally, the correct dose for large nematodes would damage the cycle of the tank and stress the fish significantly.
