Houston has thousands of restaurants, with a lot of then being very good and diverse ones. Lots of clubs and places to hang out. The people are, for the most part, warm and friendly. Pick up a Houston Chronicle on Thursday to learn about the coming weekend's events or check on line at:
www.houstonchronicle.com (look under entertainment).
Another good source to search out is www.citysearch.com in Houston for restaurants and their reviews and club listings along with upcoming events. Also, pick up free Houston Press and Leisure Learning papers with lots of information.
Have fun in Houston, ya'll!

I like hanging out at the Galleria. It is the number one tourest destination.
Richmond and Westheimer are the hot spots on Saturday and Friday. From Chimney Rock to Hilcroft.
For dining out, you can try 59 and Kirby. Head north up Kirby or Shepherd.
Also, the Village near Rice is fun for shopping or dining. Have fun!
