I live between Edinburgh and the beach.
I don't have to be anywhere or meet anyone.
Any ideas?

Go to the beach. Put your hand in the sea water. This little wave you make, will travel all the way down the Mediterranean and reach the beach where I am. I put my hand in the sea water. This is how we shake hands. This is how we touch.

Do it.

Have a naked day... everyone needs them now and then - just lie in until noon, get a snack (a sandwich, have a little beef and a smidgen of mustard) then go and play on your playstation or xbox or something, then after a few hours have a shower, then you need more food (packet of crisps and an apple) go and fiddle on the computor and find out how answers is doing, then watch some tv. Have more food (I recommend a take-away, but you may need clothes) then play some more games, then watch some tv, then role into bed at about midnight.
Naked days are always better with other people, but if you live on your own then go for it. There you are, your whole day is sorted - no worries!

Eat, drink and be merry. Or go to Edinburgh and climb up Arthur's Seat, or catch a train out and admire the scenery with fresh eyes.

A nice stroll on the beach in the morning followed by an afternoon doing some of the things you have promised yourself you would do but keep putting off, enjoy your day.

Go to the zoo, eat a banana. Visit family. Watch the home shopping network. If it were me, and I lived in Scotland, I would go castle hunting and visit some castles.

shopping!
then buy a nice dinner at marks and spencers and eat it on the beach.
(obviously I'm thinking cold dishes here!) or go to a restaurant and get a take out to eat on the beach.
nothing beats that wind in your hair feeling! (apologies if you are bald! no offence intended!!)

It'll be a long trek but you could go to Lords and watch the cricket.
