from chennai airport, any online booking option

There is no on line booking available for this. You have to hire a private taxi from Airport to Vellore and it is difficult to tell the exact and correct amount. The taxi drivers are hard bargainers and will say it will take so much time and they have to return empty with out passengers and will also teach the price of petrol/diesel etc. In my opinion you can pay something around Rs.500/- and this amount I feel is justified. Prepaid taxis for outstation destinations may not be available. -

hey if u want to take a taxi from a taxi chennai to vellore its oneway means 4500/-approx
better here somany buses are available form chennai kathipara jucnction - like route no 102, 102b so many routes are there ticket rate is approx up to 250/-( in Ultra Deluxe)
