It is reported that the DVLA and the Passport office make millions in a year using Premium tel numbers like 0870.Wasnt it the same Government that criticed TV cpmpanys for fleecing viewers with their premium rate numbers.Sit and think who else uses 0870 numbers.

Yes they are ripping us off and the worse thing is, they are getting away with it! stealing from us, destroying our country and denationalising us. We need some strong people to get us back on track!

this is all about provide and demand...we the following contained in the US have a choose for instantaneous gratification. we choose our automobiles and now no remember the price. Even on days of so stated as "black balling" the gasoline organizations, a lot of people basically pass and do what they choose at that second. We go wooden lines, we as a society don't have any loyalty which motives for most to take great factor about our needs. Duh! Do you believe that is the only fleecing rip off? Look around you, If you really wanted to see rip off, look at the Department of Motor Vehicles. They used to issue licenses, license plates, give examinations, and gave organization and control to operation of motor vehicles, however, the states stepped in and claimed that driving is not a right, it is a privilege extended by the state and cannot be claimed as a right even though we live in a transient society and driving is mandatory. With that kind of knowledge how many people are getting ripped off and what is the dollar figure associated with it. Its huge revenue.

The DVLA have a great new website that makes life much easier, and i don't find a need to ring them. But the Government is ripping us off anyway with all the parking meters and speed cameras.
