i need help for my ipod?

my ipod isnt responding to anything, it wont reset, and it isnt responding to being hooked up to my computer, so it wont charge. any1 know how to fix this?

It could be broken if it's not responding to anything. :(

hold select and menu down. can take up to 30+ sec. if that does not work try moving you hold button from on to off and then repeat step 1. I have seen it take as many as 6 or so times of doing steps 1 and 2 before it rebooted. If this does not work then you probably have hardware issues. Did you drop,wash, kick,or do the famous ipod toilet plunge before this happened ;)
