I want to make sure you got this correct. You are asking if you wear socks with your sneakers, you can't go out, it feels good, buy feet stink. I think you made some errors on this question. I think you are trying to say that if you do NOT wear socks you mother says you can't go out. But your feet don't stink. My mother never caught me wearing my sneakers without socks.

Why buy feet stink? Your question doesn't really make very much sense.
Maybe you wanted to say if you DON'T wear socks and sneakers you can't go out?
My advice is to stay home if you can't bear the thought of being in public with socks on. If that's you're only problem with your mother, you're lucky.

Yeah, THAT is major breakup material - forget other women/men, insensitivity etc it's the sneakers with socks that gets them! SERIOUSLY???!!! I think your partner is just being immature and trying a very stupid 'storybook' trick that only works for people like Cinderella. They should know that by playing with another's emotions like this they only end up hurting themselves. Call hisbluff (continue wearing your socks) and see what happens. He'll be back. (Scientifically, though, wearing shoes without socks makes your feet sweat and leaves bacteria in your shoes which make them smell absolutely foul)

I think from your message you are writing that you don't want to wear socks. Most companies make socks that don't show, they are very low cut. If you go without socks in the summer the sweat will be horrible in your shoes. Tennis shoes can be washed but they will wear out faster. Are you allowed to wear sandals or flip flops? - they don't need socks.

As a mom I make all my kids wear socks with their sneakers BECAUSE it makes their feet stink if they don't....is that what you mean?

your mom is rather strange.
all i do is wear sneakers [vans, converse, etc]
and i wear low-ankle socks or footies.
you can get some at walmart, target, tjmaxx has nice branded socks for cheap [puma, gold toe, converse, etc]
you can get really bad athlete's foot if you dont wear socks dear.

I couldn't imagine a mother telling there child That but in your case I would say find some kind of a deodorizer or baby powder or something like that.
