Yes. either when you turn 18 or when you begin having sex.

if you don't have sex and turn 18 you need to go for a checkup, and to establish your norms with your doc. and you need to go before you are 18 if you are sexually active, due to ST D's, pregnancy, etc...

You should also go to the Gynecologist if you are experiencing any problems, like reoccurring UTI'S or yeast infections
