If you really need a 3 in 1 printer, go for EPSON, HP, or Canon, never look up to Lexmark. Because my first two printers in early years were from Lexmark, and it just broke down after two months of uses. I'm not sure if they do better now, but they have given me such a very bad impression that forever scared me away. To choose a nice printer, you should consider their reliability than the consumption of ink. As for the color quality, EPSON and Canon both got my vote. I had both color printers and i was very satisfied with their performance. If you are looking for a laser, I'd highly recommend to go for HP, which is what I'm using now. Very high and fast-paced performance.

Jack of all trades/master of NONE. All in one printers are NOT as good as their freestanding counterparts. But if space is needed, go ahead. As far as price per page a laser is your best choice. If you need injet, Popular computing has a list of the price per page. Go to the library and look it up. Again, dont get an all in one unless you have to
