Do you honestly believe there is a serious terror threat in the US?

there are terrorists of different sorts or bombers like timothy mcveigh and those others that shoot people in abortion clinics these werenot prevented so how effective are the u.s. security agencies anyway or the police or the F.B. I. perhaps i am being unfair but none of them seen to be effective is there also a problem of will in goverment among republicans or others thestrange thing no one got excited about these events but are excited about other ones understandable it is easy to get that way but remember however it may look most people are on your side and to not want anything bad to happen to you or any one as in a terrorist attack now these groups i am talking about are homegrown not al-qaeda or middle eastern in origin but ones with unpleasant philosophies and think only one set of people on the planet are liars and think or seem to think that lies have never been told in wars before and seem to be unaware that all humanity has it's share of liars who have lied in the build up to wars and that'' truth is the first casuelty of war'' but then perhaps lies are necessary to them an hypocrisy not examined or to them what they write and say is true as to attacks differing ones or none

Yes, by not controlling the borders now, I read about the terrorist forming in Paraguay, s.a. that have been organizing this for years and the idea is to come up thur Mexico, which a lot of them have all ready done..the borders should be shut and controlled and immigration should be handled the way it is suppose to be...a person apply's and upon approval is let in, not having them run loose like they are now....forget Iraq, that is a mess that has gone on for years and will never stop and has nothing to do with terroists..Iran yes.....I have lived and worked in several country's and a person without a visa is ousted in a hurry...why is the U.S. differant....

I think you'd have to be 'out of it not' to believe that. I agree with Chuck L.. In that case, they're already winning. As you can see from history, not all terrorists are Arabs. There is a worse threat from China or anyone that is not on our radar. They always have the element of suprise wherever they go because they look like you and me.

Yes there is. There have been two successful terrorist attacks on the WTC. Others have been prevented. In fact, one terrorist attack on Fort Dix was just recently foiled....
