I need a laptop for personal use. Thing is, my credit isn't that hot. I would like to make payments, but have heard not so good things about a few of the companies out there. Anyone have an idea where I can get a good new or used laptop for a good price? Thanks!

Well the best laptops, and computers are Hp. Mainly for the fact of its reliability, and easy to use. It has many versitile components, and very adaptable to a majority of progams. There is also Dell. Both are very reliable and can be found online. www.dell.com, www.hp.com. Or even local stores. If you don't know alot about computers the local stores like Circut City, Walmart, Office Supply Store. Employees can help you choose a computer to meet your standrads and needs.
Hope I helped^-^

Depends on how new you want the laptop to be. www.tigerdirect.com and www.newegg.com both have great deals, but they sell some older laptops along with the newer ones so watch out for that.

For quality under 600 buy Dell or HP/Compaq. Do not buy emachines. BEWARE of Ebay. As far as credit. Do NOT buy through those rent to own. Those guys charge TONS and alot of the "problems" you hear of are from those type of purchacers. As far as the Dell interest thing, DUH, Youre not going to qualify for low interest unless you have good credit!!! I'd like to purchace a no interest loan on a brand new Lexus or Infinity but with my credit, I'm not going to qualify. People crack me up, it's everybody's fault but their own. And just 'cuz some guy is trying for reelection does not mean that he's really has a leg to stand on suing because some lady has bad credit. BOOO HOOO, I didn't get a no interest/low interest loan on my car because my credit is bad. I have to live with it, so should they!

..........Sorry for ranting
