My LCD monitor has scrambled lines going all across the screen
I tried changing the rez but it does nothing...
Any ideas?

Do you have Display Drivers? and if So Are they up to date? Sounds to me like a Mointor Cable are you using VGA or DVI? Try a new cable first if not then send it back to the maker of the LCD. For the guy under me Those are called Artifacts in the Card. Doesnt sound like that.... Sounds to me like a bad cable.

Enter safe mode. Download drivers. That may resolve it. If not, if you have another monitor, (a friends or family members) hook it up. If the issue stays with the new monitor, then the issue is the card or driver or setting. If the issue stops on the new monitor, it is the lcd.

Try unplug the monitor cable from both ends, push it back in firmly and try again, could also be a faulty card, I had something like this on a card once.

Unplug it and let it sit for about five minutes. If not send it to the company.

DO THEY GO DOWN LIKE FROM 1 CORNER TO THE OTHER? ITS TOO HOTT OR PROBUBLY YOUR DISPLAY DRIVERS HAPPENED TO ME TOO
