As a SETI optimist, I doubt that there are more than a dozen civilizations scattered around our galaxy, so the distances between us are bound to be immense.
The energy and effort to detect our planet, to then travel 20 000 light years or more bringing everything an advanced society needs to sustain itself enroute, only to conquer a world that has only had a tiny hold on technology for a pitiful length of time seems incredibly ineffecient if not outright ludicrous.
It would be infinitely easier to terraform thousands of planets much closer to the alien homeworld than to travel so far a distance to grab our little rare Earth.
That does not preclude a voyage of discovery, but aliens would most likely send some very long-lived robotic probes, not transport their biological bodies. Science fiction aside, even at the speed of light travel between stars is a centuries' long proposition at best, more like several millenia.
There are no alien technological civilizations close to earth or we would have more tangible proof.
With a little luck we may detect one in our lifetime, but don't count on it.

No.
The objections you already list are all valid and sufficient.
But there is one that you did not present: intent.
Why would alien invade Earth in the first place? There is nothing of value on Earth that cannot be found on other planets or in asteroids, therefore in places that are far more accessible, and without risking a fight or even getting contaminated by virus that could be harmless to us but totally deadly to other lifeforms.
Not to mention that our atmosphere could be toxic to aliens that evolved in an environment totally different from ours.

So far we've seen no verifiable evidence of other sentient species. That said, I believe with some certainty that somewhere in our galaxy at some past, present, or future time, a sentient species did/does/will exist.
Why haven't we heard from them?
Perhaps they are not technologically advanced enough to be heard. They may be mastering stone knives right now, or experiencing their own Rennaisance.
Perhaps they are here right now. Any species sufficiently advanced to travel interstellar distances would be able to hide or masquerade with ease. That Boeing 737 that just flew by may be a surveillance craft.
Perhaps they are so far away they will never notice us and vice versa.
Perhaps they existed a million years ago and died out.
Perhaps they will exist a million years from now.
It is really impossible to know for sure.
The Drake Equation suggests that there is sentient life out there. The Fermi Paradox casts doubt. Play around with the calculation form at the second link and see what you think.

There is plenty of time to wait for us to destroy ourselves, and it isn't going to be a long wait from the looks of things.
A race of beings millions of years more advanced than us have no reason to destroy us. They have traveled all this way. I am sure they can just set up shop on a not so distant planet or moon and observe and wait for the inevitable, for us to destroy ourselves in war. Perhaps they influence that hate to speed things up because we have already failed. What if they seeded our planet long ago and manipulated our DNA as a test of a new perfect lifeform but couldn't control our anger and feelings. So the test failed..
Then this planet will be vacant for them to use our resources as they wish
Their wait is about over and I am sure they will take much better care of this planet than we did. If ever there was a living being that disrupted the natural ways of the entire universal balance - man is that destructive being!
Nuclear effects and testing ring through the entire universe like a force of hate and destruction. You don't harness the power of the Sun unless it is to create death and destruction!
I'll bet they can't wait for the extinction of man

the aliens arrived to earth long time ago...but they couldn't find a time to reveal themselves couse we been so busy in war's and politics.. shame on us!!!!
i say before the aliens come ,we need to clean earth and take care of all is children's..and maybe then...will be rewarded by the unknown with a visit...
