The US is already in massive debt to the UN. If the US wants to continue being a member then they need to pay it back. Or they should leave and isolate themselves even further internationally. Either way they should stop hitching a free ride, damn leeches.

What exactly is the UN doing for us? We have issues with many countries, and they don't always use the UN nor do they follow the UN's guidance. Giving the UN more money doesn't fix anything.

In fact, most of the countries that owe us money don't vote with us in the UN either. Egypt, for example, votes against us 76% of the time and they owe us big. Israel (78%) and China (80%) are also major naysayers against us in the UN yet we do much business with them.

In short, the UN is ineffective, and all countries would have to take it as seriously as you do to make it work. They don't.

No. One of the root causes of terror in this world is the UN. The UN supports groups and organizations that promote a world view (gay marriage, abortion, women's rights, gender equity) that is at odds with traditional societies(Muslims) this causes many traditionalists to become defensive and at time violent in their opposition to what they rightly see as cultural pollution. If the US were to distance itself from these neo-pagans perhaps the worlds traditional societies would have a better opinion of us.

NO!!! Let the UN do a little something first. We are the biggest contributor to the UN and they're usually in opposition to us, when they're actually doing anything, which is rare.

Absolutely not. Why would we want to give the corrupt organization more money. I think Kofi and his son have mishandled enough of our money and I don't see that the UN is good for much of anything.

No

In fact, we should withold payments to the UN until such time as they have cleaned up their corruption, ceased with their anti-Americanism and gotten real results against terrorism.
