According to Ohm's law, current = voltage(emf)/resistance.

If you add batteries, you add both voltage and resistance (the batteries internal resistance). If the resistance is enough, the current will stay the same.

Usually, this is not supposed to happen.

If it does, there must be a current regulator in the circuit. Adding batteries in series increases the voltage, which will cause more current to flow in any passive circuit.

wrong question.

current dos not stay the same if you add battery in series..You have to learn ohms law.
