Would it be safe to take an eight week old baby to Cancun, Mexico for a week? My family rents a condo each year for a week, and my husband and I would really like to go, but we are wondering if it would be too soon to travel with a small baby. We aren't planning to go until next March. Any help is appreciated. What about shots and immunizations? Any one know?

Of course it would be safe, however it's not something you should do. Traveling with little kids and even worse babies is not something you should choose to do, it's only something you are force to. You will not have fun with a small child on vacation. I know a lot of people who have do so and not a single on says it was a smart idea. Find someone to watch the little one, use the time to reconnect with your husband. For a trip like this, you should wait until the child is about 8-10 years old. That way it will be easier on you, and they will remember it later in life.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for talking kids to see the world. However there are real life limits that should be taken into account before you do so. Once they are old enough, take them everywhere and all the time...

properly, you may desire to examine with the baby's wellness care expert first, besides the undeniable fact that it may be advantageous. once you're breastfeeding, you new child won't choose any pictures or immunizations - the ony nutrients this is getting is from you!! If the baby is bottle-fed, it will be a splash trickier. you will could desire to apply bottled water and sterilized bottles. i'm a verify, and that i will inform you from very own journey: this is the acceptable time to holiday jointly with your new child. you will choose much less kit now than on the different time, and you do no longer could desire to concern approximately new child-proofing because of the fact the baby isn't cellular yet. We took our eleven-month-old to New Orleans final month, and that i replaced into WISHING she replaced into nonetheless as transportable as she was! Edit: Oh, I forgot to characteristic: Sunscreen is quite no longer reccommended for a splash one among that age, and their epidermis remains very gentle. you will could desire to keep the baby indoors a super variety of the time throughout the day. besides the undeniable fact that, once you're going jointly with the entire relatives, you may desire to be waiting to locate somebody to observe the baby so which you will sneak out to the coastline at times.

Well, I would advise not to go since the risk is probably greater than the reward. Your baby could get sick, especially if it has a sensitive stomach. Oh, and if you go make sure to only drink safe bottled water...or else you'll DEFINATELY get sick!
