Will I have the knowledge to be placed in High school Trigonometry. I am currently a sophomore and I have already taken Algebra I and Algebra 2. The geometry course says that it covers the language of geometry, similarity, congruence,properties of points,lines, triangles, rectangles, volumes, surface areas,spheres,cylinders,cones and other solids,
Will I be ready to take Trigonometry I am willing to put extra time into learning Trigonometry. I received an overall 95% In Algebra 1 and an overall 90% in Algebra 2

You should be OK as long as you memorize SOHCAHTOA.

SOH stands for Sine = Opposite over Hypotenuse.

CAH stands for Cosine = Adjacent over Hypotenuse.

TOA stands for Tangent = Opposite over Adjacent.

That should get you ready for Trig. But the final say has to come from your High School. Ask one of the counselors and they'll be able to tell you for sure.

BTW..... Congratulations on your math work so far, and your good attitude towards being willing to work and study hard. Both will take you a long way.

You should be good to go for trig with your algebra grades and a geometry course over the summer. You should have all the tools necessary for solving equations and for doing the proofs.
