I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you a baby wouldn't get dry skin from the mother eating ice cubes. Ice is water, and you & your baby's body are 65-90% water.

Why do you need a doctor to tell you, of course your baby won't get dry skin if you drink lots of water when you're pregnant? All ice cubes are is water.

ice cubes are just frozen water, and water moisturizes the skin so it will be good for you and your baby, but chewing ice can ruin your teeth so be careful
