I was sitting there wondering how to stop the unfair voting on Yahoo!Answers and I couldn't think of one. Yahoo can't tell which is a real account or which is one that is just used for voting in your own answers. They can't just block accounts for no reason. Then I came up with this simple solution:
Askers need to start voting for their best answers! I don't know if people just forget or if they don't care, but that is the only way to get the actual best answer! I think that the voting should be completely eliminated from Y!Answers. The only way someone should be able to get a best answer is if the asker picks it.
Is that a good idea?

Yeah, they could ask a question and answer it using 2 different accounts, but I think that that wouldn't satisfy them enough.

*** i still think they died...that's why they didn't come back and vote for a best answer. no other explanation fits. so, really, it's kind of a mute point...they're dead so they CAN'T come back and vote for the best answer to their question. good idea in theory tho. ;o)

That's a great solution but if someone had two accounts they could ask a question with one and answer with the other. The first account would be able to pick the best answer which would be the second one.

I desire human beings might choose their well-liked answer. i've got had some tied in balloting for months as a results of fact the chief in one classification watches for my solutions and votes against me--wierd, in view that i'm getting no longer something out of a suited answer that advantages me. some human beings basically like to compete, i assume. This different guy has like seventy two% suited solutions. He purely solutions questions that no one else solutions and then suits returned and votes for himself. i've got desperate to end competing--who cares....

I think that is a good solution. But you have people who are just trolling I don't know if that could put a stop to that also.
