cicumference: 3.14*d=1000
1000 divided by 3.14= 318.4713376 rounded to aproximately 318.5
318.5 is the diameter of the circle.
AREA OF CIRCLE= 3.14 multiplied by the radius to the 2nd power
3.14 multiplied by 159.25 to the 2nd power =79632.16625m
159.25 is half of 318.5 which is the radius.

The formula for the circumference of a circle is, c = 2pi*r
So r = c/2pi.
The formula for the area of a circle is: pi*r^2 so, if we substitute c/2pi in place of r, we get:
pi*(c/2pi)^2. To simplify this we get:
pi*c^2/4pi^2. If we now divide top and bottom by pi we get:
c^2/4pi.
We know that c = 1000m so c^2 = 1000000m^2
so1000000/4pi = 79577.54m^2

Circumference =Pi * 2 * r where r =radius in metres.
=1000m
Knowing this you can easily work out the value of r.
That value of r is unique to that circle.
You then take that r value, square it then multiply the r2 value
by 3.142 being Pi, expressing the final value in m2.
That's your area!

1. 2pi x r = circum ference
and
2. pi.x (r squared) = area
Start with equation 1. 1000 =2x3.14 x r.
so r = 1000/6.28
r =159.24 m
Now Use equation 2. 3.14 x 25,357.38 = area
So area = 79,622.17 square meters

Given that A=pi*r^2, you have to find first the value of r.
p=2pi*r, so 1000=2(3.14)r, then 1000=6.28r
r=1000/6.28=159.24.
